A while ago, I came across film negatives from 1987. These negatives revealed a long-ago trip to Nine Mile Canyon in Utah. With the power of a film scanner, the images from a point-and-shoot camera came into the 21st century. Others can enjoy them. This July of 2024, we visited Utah.

I am not sure that I can use words to describe what I see before me. I am at the petroglyph site known for the spider woman or the balloon man. I was in this place 37 years ago. It is so amazing to be back here in the area.
I revisited the Nine Mile Canton twice. There is a story to that second visit. I was so caught up in the petroglyphs that I missed balance rock. A large tree partially blocked my view of the rock. Trees grow over three decades.
