What is White Rock Lake Park?

White Rock Lake Park is a 4,112-hectare urban park in Dallas, Texas. The park features a large man-made lake famous for boating, fishing, and swimming. The park also offers several recreational activities, such as hiking, biking, and jogging on its many trails, as well as picnicking and bird watching.

The park is home to the White Rock Lake Museum, which showcases the history of the lake and the surrounding area. The park also features several playgrounds, sports fields, and a disc golf course.

In 1997, I discovered this lake and rode around it on my bicycle. The Dallas Arboretum is well-positioned along the lake.
